This Eco-Fusion yarn is made of 50% Cotton and 50% Bamboo.
It is hand-dyed in South Africa using locally grown cotton and ethically sourced bamboo fibres.

DK yarn (Also ‘double knit’ or ‘8-ply yarn’) is the most popular of all yarn weight.
By definition, the 8 strands forming this yarn makes it a very sturdy and resilient yarn.
This yarn is soft to the skin, light and breathable.
The Bamboo fibres gives a smooth finish with a silk-like sheen.

This cotton and bamboo fusion yarn is perfect for summer knits, weaving, and so on.
For garments, be mindful to pick patterns with additional structure as bamboo can tend to lose its shape. Hence why this blend of cotton and bamboo is a perfect fusion yarn for lightweight garments.
