Kid Silk Lace Yarn

Product Description

This Kid Silk Lace yarn is made of 70% Kid Mohair and 30% Silk fibres.
It is hand-dyed in South Africa using the wool from local Angora goats and ethically sourced Silk fibres.

Lace yarn (Also ‘2-ply yarn’) is one of the lightest yarn weights.
Mohair is considered a luxury yarn. It is very lightweight, durable, warm, easy to care for and gives a lofty feel.
Although, be aware that it can feel too prickly for a sensitive skin.
Silk adds smoothness and softness to this blend and gives this yarn a gorgeous sheen.

This yarn being very fine light weight is perfect to create airy crochet or knits.
It is not ideal for beginners, as it is often used for more complex patterns and is harder to work with.
Kid Silk Lace yarn is great for openwork shawls, wraps, doilies, cowls and shrugs.
